Position Description:

The Registered Nurse is the first level of nurse who is licensed to practice nursing without supervision and who assumes responsibility for their own actions and acts to rectify unsafe nursing practices and/or unprofessional conduct. It is essential that the nurse is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a current practicing certificate.

The degree of expertise will increase as the Registered Nurse advances through this level. The nurse may be a beginning practitioner, or a registered nurse returning to the field after a period of absence, or a registered nurse choosing to remain at this level.

The Registered Nurse maintains nursing practice in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council competencies and standards.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

  • Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse in either a generalist setting or that of a specialty
  • 20 hours annual training to be eligible for registration
  • Personal indemnity insurance.
Position description:

The Enrolled Nurse is a member of a unit team and assists in the delivery of competent, quality nursing care at an advanced level under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Nurse Unit Manger (NUM).

  • Previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in a hospital environment

Position description:

To assist and provide support to the Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Domestic Supervisor and to provide care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

  • Certificate III Qualification
  • High school education or 12 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience working as a Carer in a hospital environment.
Position description:

Provide a high level of customer service to patients and staff. Compile and maintain records of business transactions and office activities of establishment.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

  • High school education or 12 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of patients or employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed or undetailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardised situations.
Position description:
The Chef/Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, hygenic and consistent manner. The Chef/Cook must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment while maintaining the organisational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. The Chef/Cook must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety procedures and have the ability to withstand the temperature condition within a hot and busy kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have:
  • A food handling certificate and experience in food service delivery
  • Previous experience working as a Chef/Cook in a commercial kitchen.
